There is a lot of confusion about weight loss, and it can lead to people asking weight loss questions that no one knows how to answers. There are many theories and speculations about what people can do to lose weight, what lets people lose weight the fastest, and other weight related topics, but the truth is that every person is different and it generally takes a few tries for each person to find what works for them.

Perhaps the most important and common of the weight loss questions is what causes weight gain? Again, the answer is different for everyone but there are a few factors that come into play. Age is a big one because when most people hit 18 or so, their metabolism stops being that of a kid and slows down. People who continue to eat the way they did when they were younger may notice a change in weight. Exercising less and eating more bad foods are also prime sources of weight gain. Pregnancy can also lead to weight gain even after the baby is born.

Weight loss questions that ask about how to lose the weight that was gained are much harder to answer. For some people, they find that simply eating more fruits and vegetables instead of high fat foods is all it takes to drop weight. Other people enjoy exercising enough to eat whatever they want and still lose weight. In some cases weight is really hard to lose even with diet and exercise and medical advice may be needed.
